Privacy Policy

Effective November 4, 2026
Short version: this site doesn't track you, doesn't sell anything, and doesn't collect genetic or health data. If you email us, we use your details to reply and nothing else.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Modekal Inc. ("Modekal", "we", "us") operates this website. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit the site or contact us.

It covers this website only. Modekal's app and genetic testing service are in development and are not offered through this site. Before we offer any product, we will publish a separate privacy notice for it, including how genetic, health and wearable data are handled, and we will ask for your express consent where the law requires it.

2. We don't collect genetic or health data here

This site has no sign-up, no account, no upload and no checkout. Please don't send us DNA files, test results, medical records or other health information by email. If you do, we will delete it and won't use it.

3. Information we collect

Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to include, such as your organization and the reason you're getting in touch.

Technical information. Like any website, the providers that host and serve this site receive standard technical information when your browser loads a page, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the time of the request. Our web fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives this information when it delivers the font files.

What we don't do. We don't set advertising or analytics cookies, we don't use tracking pixels, and we don't build profiles of visitors. If that changes, we'll update this policy first and, where required, ask for your consent.

4. How we use information

We don't use what you send us for automated decision-making, and we don't add you to a marketing list without your permission.

5. We don't sell or share your information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months.

We disclose information only:

6. How long we keep it

We keep correspondence only as long as we need it for the conversation it relates to and for ordinary business records, and then delete it. Technical logs held by our service providers are kept according to their own retention schedules.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards suited to the limited information we handle here. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information by email.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing danny@modekal.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states. These include the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We will respond within the time the applicable law requires and may need to confirm your identity first. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we'll explain the outcome.

Because we don't sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of today. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.

9. Visitors outside the United States

Modekal is based in the United States, and information is processed in the United States. If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on our legitimate interests to respond to your messages and run this site, and on your consent where we ask for it. You have the rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and to data portability, and you may complain to your local data protection authority.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Modekal grows. We'll post the new version here and change the effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we'll tell you before it takes effect where the law requires.
